Done-for-you lead generation: what actually ships

Most lead-gen retainers sell activity. This is the version where every week ends with a file on your domain, a link you can open, and a number you can argue with.

What is built, in order

01

Offer that can be judged

Who it is for, what it replaces, what it costs, what happens on click. Written into a live page, not a positioning deck.

02

List and criteria

Who gets contacted and who is explicitly excluded — the exclusion list is usually where the wasted money was hiding.

03

Sending that survives

Domains, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, warm-up, per-mailbox limits. Outbound does not start until this checklist passes.

04

Test with a kill rule

Required volume is computed from your baseline and the smallest difference you care about — before the test starts, not after.

05

Inbound layer

Indexed pages under the queries your buyers type, structured data, a free tool worth linking to.

06

Measurement and handover

Events wired to the funnel, index status per URL, and the whole thing handed over running.

What it is not

Reference prices: Sprint $900 fixed · Engine $1,900/month · Full build $2,900 one-time. Details on the pricing page and the scope of work.

Questions people actually ask

What does "done for you" mean here exactly?

It means the thing is built and reachable at a public URL before you pay the second invoice: the page, the tool, the send infrastructure, the measurement. You review artifacts, not slides.

Do you guarantee a number of leads?

No, and anyone who does is selling you a discount on their credibility. What is guaranteed is the volume of work, the artifacts and the kill rules: every test states in advance how much volume it needs to be readable.

How long before anything is live?

The first live page is normally up inside the first working week of the Sprint package. Cold outbound only starts after the sending domain passes the deliverability checklist.

Can this run next to an existing agency?

Yes. The usual split is: the agency keeps the brand work, this work builds the measurable acquisition layer and hands you the files.
